Before a woman decides to have Breast Augmentation Surgery, she should think carefully about her expectations as well as possible outcomes, and discuss them with her Breast Augmentation surgeon. The best candidates for Breast Augmentation are women who are looking for improvement, not perfection, in the way they look. If a woman is physically healthy and realistic in her expectations, she may be a good candidate for the Breast Augmentation surgery. Breast Augmentation is important to discuss your individual expectations regarding the change you seek in the shape and size of your breast with your doctor who will be able to consider the optimal surgical approach to satisfy your desired outcome. Breast Lift Surgery in India

The breasts droop or sag due to reasons of pregnancy, breast feeding, weight loss and aging, and this usually has a negative impact on a woman’s self-confidence. Sagging or asymmetrical breasts can be corrected through breast lift surgery which restores the natural appearance of the breasts. Breast lift surgery can also be emotionally rewarding apart from the physical improvement ensured. The procedure involves removing excess skin on the breasts thereby giving them a more youthful and attractive appearance.

Breast Lift Surgery Procedure in India – Breast lift surgery in India is provided under general anesthesia which results in the patient sleeping for at least 3- 4 hours, which is the duration of the procedure. In this procedure, the underlying breast tissue is raised and reshaped to improve the firmness of the breasts and their contour. The nipple and areola are raised and placed in a more youthful position. If required, enlarged areolas are reduced by removing skin at the perimeter. Any excess breast skin is removed to compensate for loss of elasticity. The remaining skin is tightened and the incisions are closed. The incision lines are permanent, but in most cases these fade and improve over time.

What is gynecomastia?

Overly large male chests can cause emotional issues and poor self-esteem for men.

Gynecomastia is a benign enlargement of the male breast. The masculine appearance of the chest is replaced by what looks like small or sometimes even fully developed "woman-like" breasts. The enlargement of the breast in gynecomastia is caused by growth or proliferation of the glandular component of the breast much like the changes seen in a woman's breast as she passes through puberty.

Breast Enlargement caused by too much fat (ie. not primarily glandular enlargement) is called pseudo gynecomastia.

Despite the different causes, both lead to breast enlargement and both are amenable to cosmetic improvement.

Breast Lift Surgery

A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and loss of skin elasticity can result from, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, aging, gravity, or heredity. A breast lift surgery can rejuvenate your figure with a breast profile that is youthful and uplifted. Breast Lift Surgery Procedure, also known as mastopexy, raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. A Breast Lift Surgery Procedure will not reduce the size of the breast.

If you want your breasts to look fuller, consider breast lift combined with a breast augmentation procedure. If you want smaller breasts, consider combining breast lift and breast reduction procedure. The lift can also be combined with a nipple reduction procedure.

Breast Reconstruction Surgery India

Breast reconstruction surgery is a type of surgery for women who have had all or part of a breast removed. The surgery rebuilds the breast mound to match the size and shape of the other breast. The nipple and the darker area around the nipple (areola) can also be added.

Most women who have had a breast removed (mastectomy) are able to have breast reconstruction surgery. Women who have had only the part of the breast around the cancer removed (lumpectomy or breast-conserving surgery) might not need reconstruction, but sometimes they do. Breast reconstruction surgery is done by a plastic surgeon.

Breast Augmentation Benefits

Breast Augmentation Surgery is the surgical placement of Breast implants to increase fullness and projection of the breasts or to improve symmetry of the breasts. Clinically referred to as “Augmentation Mammaplasty”, the procedure is used cosmetically to:
# Enlarge a naturally small breast, most commonly the result of heredity
# Restore breast volume lost following pregnancy, as a result of breast-feeding or due to weight loss
# Achieve better symmetry when breasts are moderately disproportionate in size and shape

Aesthetic Improvement:
Breast Augmentation Surgery with breast implants enhances a woman’s figure by increasing breast size, reshaping the bust line, and providing shapelier body contour. Small breasts can cause some women to feel that their bust line is disproportionate; creating an overall figure that lacks balance. Breast enlargement Surgery can add curves and definition to the body’s profile for an appearance that is more conventionally attractive.Breast Enhancement Surgery with breast implants can be used to restore breast size and shape following a mastectomy. If a woman’s breasts are of noticeably different sizes, a single breast implant can make the breasts more similar in size, creating an attractive symmetry.
